Scott Patterson was born on June 20, 1979 in Pittsburgh, Pa. He grew up in Oakdale, Pennsylvania where his Dad and brother Ryan still live. Scott attended West Allegheny High School in Imperial, PA where he holds the Season Leading Strikeout Record. He attended West Virginia State where he earned the 2002 WVIAC Pitcher of the Year Award.
Lancaster, PA which is in the Atlantic League.
While pitching for the Barnstormers in June 2006,
Scott was signed by the Yankees
and sent to their Double A Team the Trenton Thunder.
Scott credits his success to his coaches and managers from West Allegheny High School, West Virginia State, the Gateway Grizzlies and the Lancaster Barnstormers who always believed in him.
He is an avid hunter and one of his favorite past times is bow hunting. His favorite time of year is opening day of Buck Season in Kane, PA. Scott has his share of trophy heads hanging at the hunting camp!
